How Do I Place An Order?

 

You can order using the shopping basket facility in the online store, which will allow you to pay online securely through Paypal or Nochex, or by posting us a cheque or postal order. Only Sterling cheques and postal orders can be accepted, we are unable to accept any foreign currency payments. 

If you choose to pay online via Paypal or Nochex, once you checkout you will be directed to the secure Paypal or Nochex site to complete your payment. You will then be re-directed back to The Lingerie Store for confirmation that your order has been placed. 

If you choose to pay by cheque or postal order, the goods will be held for you for 14 days. If payment is not received within the 14 days, the order will be cancelled and the goods returned to stock.

Do You Accept Credit/Debit Cards?

 

We are only able to accept credit/debit cards through Paypal or Nochex. You do not need to have an account with either Paypal or Nochex to use them. Simply enter your card details when requested, and your payment will be processed securely. You can send upto £100 in one go by Nochex, if you need to send more, you will need to open an account with them.

Where Do You Ship To & How Much Will It Cost?

 

Currently, we ship to the UK, Northern Ireland, Irish Republic, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

How Quick Do You Ship The Goods Out?

 

Many of the items on the website are in stock and ready for despatch, and they will normally be posted out within 1-2 working days if you pay by Paypal or Nochex. If you pay by cheque, we will despatch your order upon clearance of your payment. Sometimes, goods may have to be ordered in on your behalf, in which case we would ask that you allow 28 days for delivery. In reality, most ordered in goods will be ready for despatch within 3-21 working days. Your order update email will inform you if your goods are being ordered in. In the event that we are unable to fulfil your order due to there being no stock available at the manufacturer, we will refund you in full straightaway.

If you need your items quickly, it is best to email us to check availability before you order. Just use the Contact Us page to let us know which item, size and colour you would like and we will let you know when we expect to be able to despatch your chosen item.

Free delivery is by 1st Class Royal Mail, although you can opt for Recorded Delivery (65p) or Special Delivery (£3.50) when you checkout.

What About Refunds/Returns?

 

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after delivery. To cancel the contract, please contact us as soon as possible by email with details of your order. This does not apply to items that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. These items are clearly marked with an (**) next to the product name. 

If we have already despatched your order, subject to the goods being returned in the condition in which they were despatched, unworn, in the original packaging and with all tags attached, within 14 days, a refund for the purchase costs will be arranged within 30 days of your notification to cancel. However, the refund will not include the postage costs. Please contact us by email for details of where to send your parcel to. You must notify us if you intend to return items unwanted items so that we can issue you with a returns number. If you send items back without first informing us of your intention, a 15% re-stocking charge will apply. Please also note that if you return a non-returnable item to us, we will NOT refund for that item. All non-returnable items are clearly marked on the website, on orders, on invoices and on packing slips with (**) after the product name.

You are liable for the cost of returning unwanted items. Please note that we are unable to accept liability for any items being returned to us that are lost or damaged in transit. Please wrap the items securely. For your own security, we advise that you obtain a Certificate of Posting (free) from the Post Office. This will cover upto £32 in the event of loss or damage. For higher values, the appropriate Special Delivery Service should be used.
